Hello internet! (or let’s be realistic, hello friends & family, but maybe someday there will be others) My name is Steve and I am totally hooked on travel and this led to me becoming obsessed with travel hacking and the world of points and miles. This is a natural progression because if you love to travel, why wouldn’t you want to travel for free (or nearly free)?
In this blog I expect my top writing subject to be travel hacking. But I also expect to share my travel experiences along with a variety of other subjects that interest me including but not limited to:
- Traveling with dogs
- Personal Finance
- Financial Independence
- Minimalism
- Whatever else strikes my fancy
Let’s just say the subject matter will be broad, but all of these things are related in different ways. You also may not even know what some of those things are. If that is the case hopefully you will give me the chance to enlighten you. They are all different forms of superpowers that your normal citizen going through the motions of life cannot or will not grasp. If you embrace them at any level you’ll have a leg up on everyone around you and they will not be the wiser. At least until they start seeing pictures of you jetting all over the world with a seemingly never ending budget 🙂
If I can just help a few people travel beyond their normal means it will be worth it. Traveling can really change your world view and broaden your understanding of other cultures. It’s a great way to grow as a person. It provides endless adventure and stories you will tell the rest of your life. The problem is that travel is expensive. It doesn’t have to be though. There is a hidden world full of amazing free and discounted travel out there. From budget trips to luxury trips you never imagined experiencing.
